VA loan
A mortgage loan that is guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In the event of a default on such a loan, the terms guarantee repayment to the lender.

When an individual has a right to use a portion of a fund, such as an individual's retirement fund.

Veterans' Administration (VA)
A department of the federal government that guarantees loans made to veterans.
